Max Muay Thai began in 2013 and since then Max Muay Thai has held regular Muay Thai bouts in both domestic and international stadiums. In the year of its launch Max Muay Thai held 5 large tournaments in Surin, Pattaya, and Khon Kaen Thailand along with Zheng Zhou China Sendai Japan. This tournament was broadcast live on CTH, or Channel 7 in Thailand along with local channels in both China and Japan.

Continuing on in 2014 Max Muay Thai changed its format to include a weekly program, Max Muay Thai Live, on Max Sports. The show was aired on CTH for 35 weeks until it morphed to its current incarnation. Max Muay Thai Live now holds weekly shows at the Max Muay Thai Stadium in Pattaya, Thailand and is broadcast live on Channel 8 in Thailand and aired to over 45 European countries. The weekend televised shows have a variety of formats from gym versus gym to a four man tournament to a foreigners versus Thai format.

Now in 2015 the live broadcast of Max Muay Thai has a viewership of over 5 million people and the company is valued at approximately 300 million baht. The stadium also sees 2,000 spectators who come regularly from around the world to see the show live. The stadium holds daily fights Monday through Thursday with televised shows on Friday, Saturdays, and Sundays. With a dedicated staff of 32 people Max Muay Thai has shown itself to be a large cultural force and has been publicized in the daily Muay Thai paper Muay Siam. It was even given the 2015 Muay Siam Cultural award.
President Asira Tohjaroensuk through his success with Max Muay Thai has also been received a business award from the Association of South East Asian Nations.
