The bouts for the evening started with Pha Dawwait from Myanmar facing Numthep Pumpanmuang from Thailand at 52kgs. With a look of concentration Numthep faced the hard hitting Pha landing strong body kicks in the second round. The tough Pha pushed out stiff jabs into the second but started to tire in the third leading Numthep to a points victory.

The fight of the night saw Sai Chantany battle Chaimongkol Chor. Rattanachai at 58 kgs. Sai took a clear lead in the first round when he landed an upward elbow on Chaimongkol sending him down to the canvass for a count. The French fighter continued his dominance clinching up with Chaimongkol and landed devastating knees that took the life out of Chaimonkol. The Thai fighter got his revenge in the third when he was able to split Sai’s head open with an elbow that saw Sai’s face turn into a mask of blood. Despite the blood donation Sai took home the points victory.

Finland battled Thailand in the third bout of the evening with Singhakaengkhro Pattayamuaythai fighting Riku Santeri at 62.5 kgs. Singhakaengkro had real problems facing the much taller Riku and couldn’t get it together. In the first the Thai fighter was apprehensive and in the second seemed to have real problems with his breathing. His nose looked to be injured and he couldn’t muster the energy to get it together. Riku sailed onto a points victory.

Gregg Gottardi from France took on Kongchiangdao Aor.Sanitpan from Thailand at 65kg. The French fighter used his techniques to stall and thwart Kongchiangdao’s forward assaults throughtout the three round fight. The technically savvy Gottardi took home the points win against Kongchiangdao.

The prelude to the main event saw Keivan Soleimani face Lowngen Superprosamui at 70kg. The Thai fighter, who had a great stadium pedigree, showed his experience in the ring walking down the Iranian fighter in the clinch. Keivan was able to fire off some quick, crisp hands in the first two rounds but began to falter under the continued aggression of Lowngen. The judges gave it an easy decision for Lowngen from Thailand.

The always jovial Jaowayha Sitnayoktang battled Jos Rodrigues from Brazil in what looked to be an amazing match up at 69 kgs. Jos is former Rajadamnern belt holder and Jaowayha holds a belt from the Max four man tournaments. The first round so the two clash toe to toe but Jaowayha was able to cut Jos in the first causing a doctor’s stoppage. Hopefully we will see a rematch for the two formidable boxers.

Cambodia took on Thailand in the last bout of the evening with Thoeun Theara battling Petchtongchai Sor.Seubsak from Thailand at 72kg. The Cambodian made short work of his Thai opponent with a series of elbows. The first 8 count coming from an upward elbow through the guard, then a second that went right to the chin. Thoeun Theara secured the KO victory and win for his country.
