Thailand Versus the World- Max Muay Thai Ultimate Report back February 19 2017

Geoffray Lazzaro from France looked strong in the first round against his opponent Jakkawal Sitsutin. Fighting at 69 kilos the French fighter was looking to get back onto the winning track utilizes powerful left hands and left knees in the first. Jakkawal turned things around in the second landing a vicious knee to the body on Geoffray sending him down for an 8 count. Geoffray rose back up but was mentally out of the fight and after 2 more counts Jakkawal secured the victory.

Turkey took on Thailand in the second bout of the night at 68 kilos. Omer Yilmaz training out of Luktupfah gym in Bangkok took on Yodnatee Por Muangpetch. Omer looked a bit nervous in the first round. In his previous bout against Petchmeechai Petcharoen Omer had been outclassed and Omer had a hard time settling in. Yodnatee used a long guard in the second making Omer pay. The third round really exploded to life and both boxers received a 5,000 baht bonus along with a draw.

The very tough Robert Jor Chaiwat took on Thiago Alves from Brazil at 68 kilos in the third bought of the evening. In a previous bought Robert had lost one of his incisors and had kept fighting regardless. He showed the same determination and the second round was a great brawl but Robert started to fade in the 3rd letting Thiago take a points victory. Both fighters were given a 5,000 baht performance bonus.

It was a rough night for Akram Dahmani who fought Petchprakaan Kor. Klanboot at 61 kilos. The taller Belgian fighter just was not confident in his abilities after Petchprakaan landed some devastating body punches and leg kicks. His lack of response led to the referee appropriately stepping in and waving off the fight. Pretchprakaan was given a 5,000 baht bonus along with the win.

The comain event saw Argentina take on Thailand at 70 kilos. Tsunami Jor Chaiwat faced Francisco Sallent. The explosive shots from the Thai fighter drowned the Argentian who despite a few good elbows and solid hands became too tired to throw anything but token shots in the third. Tsunami went on to take on the points victory.

Narak Aor Sanitpan took on Edson Lopes in the main event of the evening. Edson from Brazil looked strong in the first landing destructive leg kicks on Narak. It almost looked like Narak would topple over but the Thai fighter came out a different man in the second battering Edson in the second and third with knees and kicks. Both boxers were given 5,000 baht bonuses but only Narak took the win.

Brazil again battled Thailand in the last bout of the evening with the young prospect Patrick Do Nascimento taking on Chanasuek Chor Sungprapahai. The Brazlian fighter showed some great basics and did well in the first but started to get caught up in the clinch by Chanasuek in the second and third leading to the Thai fighter taking the victory. Both of the men received a 5,000 baht prize for their efforts.
