There was violence in the air tonight at the Max Muay Thai Stadium for our weekly Battle show. The program pits Thais vs Thais and tonight was nearly nonstop knockouts.
The first bout saw the action go into the second round. The first round had Munggonthep Sitpooyaiae off balancing Duwao Mabin Pegasus but it was Duwao’s aggression that was causing the fight. When Munggonthep opened up though it was nothing but trouble for Duwao. A head kick and two hard lefts sent Duwao down to the canvas for the first knock out of the night in the second round.
Tabongpetch Bor Sor Kor battled Diesellek Mor Rajabhatburiram in the second bout of the night at 60 kilos. Tabongpetch was aggressive but Diesellek was sharp with the counters. The guard of Tabongpetch started to fade in the second as Deisellek chopped away with elbows. The elbows split the guard and Tabongpetch went down in the 2nd round.
The third bout of the night saw Boonyarit Sitsontidech fight Petchdam Jindamanee. Boonyarit had dropped his last two matches here at Max and came out strong in this bout. His power punches did well for him as he body punched Petchdam in the first, blocked a counter elbow and landed an overhand left that made Petchdam collapse to the canvas. Boonyarit turned it around and is back on the winning side of things.
Petsakon Thebestmuaythai made a remarkable comeback against Kunpitak Aor Pitapornchai in the 4th bout of the evening at 54 kilos. Kunpitak had Petsakorn dazed and confused but Petsakon was able to pull it together to land a straight left to the body making Kunpitak eat the canvas for the fourth knock out of the night.
Our main event of the night was the only battle to go the distance as Nil Loukmakamwhan took on Thewinner Sor.Pongamon at 64 kilos. Thewinner lived up to his name and attacked with sharp body kicks in the first. Nil attempted to damage the lead leg but the two went into the clinch for the 2nd and 3rd. The successful turns and knees from Thewinner had him cinch the points victory in the main event.
The last bout of the night saw another quick finish as Namkabuan Sitkongwet hurt Superbas Tor Tor Kudnamsai early on. The 55 kilo Namkabuan lept into action to finish things off and slammed Superbas with a jumping knee and then a following right knee to seal the evening off.
