English Language Commentator Rob Cox makes news

Lead English Language commentator Rob Cox is making news again with a new write up in West Coast Muay Thai. The promotional company did a photo series on Cox and his job as the lead english speaker of the commentator team here at Max.

Along with being the head of the English Language commentary team Cox is often found ring side at the major stadiums taking photos for international publications.

He is also the owner and manager of Kiatphonthip gym outside of Bangkok. Max has had a handful of successful boxers come out of his gym including Sam Gough.

Here's an excerpt from the article:

"With many tasks on hand Cox still maintains his focus. 'In commentary, you have to tell the whole story of the fight. You must explain what is going on and must be aware of everything. You can’t zone out and English commentators we tend to do more analysis unlike our Thai counterparts. The Thai commentators talk a lot but it doesn’t have as much depth. Each style has its own place though,' Cox said."
