Sean “The Clubber” Clancy stood toe to toe on Max’s Ultimate show this past Sunday against Raseesing Wor. Wiwattananon. As previously reported Clancy took the fight on last minutes notice. Despite having a short training camp Clancy performed admirably but was ultimately unable to deal with the size advantage of Raseesing.
“I felt fine in the fight especially for having taking the fight on 2 days notice,” Clancy said.
The Irishman had some success with his leg kicks and was able to avoid damage with some lightning quick reflexes. He swayed out of range when Rasessing went for the high kicks. He was unable to stand his ground as much as he would have liked to and took a decision loss.
One loss isn’t the end of the world for a fighter like Clancy who regularly fights in the stadiums. “I’ll be back training this week and will probably fight again next month,” Clancy said.
As somone that can’t say no to a fight, fans of the Irish Clubber will be sure to see him back at Max Muay Thai in the future.
