Jaisuu in strong Max Muaythai debut

There was another action packed, bloddy night of fights at the Max Muaythai stadium on Sunday the 11th of June, with the regular Ultimate show pulling in a packed crowd once again.

The main event of the show saw Max Muaythai debutante Jaisuu Sor Chaisate take on our first 68 kilo silver belt winner Thiago Alves of Brazil. Jaisuu is a former protege of Olympic hero Somrak Khamsing and it showed from the off as he frustrated Alves with sharp kicks and kept him at the end of a fast jab, before picking him off with explosive shots. Midway through the opening round Jaisuu connected with a fast elbow that opened a long cut on Alves hairline, just above his left temple and this seemed to make the young Brazilian even more reluctant to open up. Alves mounted a strong charge in the final round as he finally started to push forward more and he rocked the head of Jaisuu back several times, but couldn't find the decisive shot and Jaisuu took the decision win.

Raseesing Wor Wiwatananon made a successful return to the max Muaythai arena, with a comfortable win over Sean Clancy of Ireland. Raseesing was originally due to face Warren Stavone of the US, but Stavone sustained a last minute injury and Clancy stepped up to the plate, giving Raseesing a large size advantage. Clancy showed a tenacious spirit, but the size was a little too much to overcome and Raseesing took the points win.

The match between Dekrabert Lukkangtanon and French warrior Alexis Barateau was also another bloody affair, with Dekrabert slicing open the forehead of Alexis in the opening round with a fierce elbow strike. Dekrabert looked very strong in the opening two rounds as he attacked Alexis with some solid punches and knees. Alexis pushed forward in the final round looking for a knockdown, but Dekrabert stayed out of trouble and was awarded the points win at the end of three rounds.
