Yodkhunpon Sor Rotjarin opened up about his Champion four man tournament win last Saturday, stating it was his proudest moment in the sport, since taking up Muaythai, for a young boy from the countryside, who was unsure of what way his future would unfold, to beating Saensong Nayokekanglim in the final. "I have to thank Max Muaythai for building me up and giving me the opportunity to win the title I can know war around my waist".
Yodkhunpon got of to a flying start in the 51 kilo tournament, stopping Panthong Or Pittisak in the opening round and then carried over his relentless, non-stop aggression into the final against Saensong. The first three rounds were too close to call and Yodkhunpon continued his fierce attacks to take a close fourth deciding round and be crowned Champion, with both fighters awarded the Superfighter bonus for their efforts.
"I am really happy as I was able to perform to the limit of my ability in every fight, most importantly to become a Champion is something I have been waiting for my whole career so far. Thank you to Max Muaythai to give me this opportunity. This has been a dream come true of a young boy from the countryside to become champion. I will keep working hard and giving 100% from now on. Thank you to everyone that has given me support!" stated Yodkhunpon.
