Introducing our 59.5 Kilo Champion 4 man warriors

This Saturday the 16th of September sees the latest installment of 'The Champion', Max Muaythai's weekly four man tournament, with a 50,000 baht grand prize awaiting the winner. This weeks line up is an explosive mix of fighters, which should make for more of the trademark Max Muaythai action. The weight for this weeks tournament is set at 59.5 kilos

Apiwat Sor Somnuek is a very experienced, technical fighter with a heavy right kick and some dangerous elbows in the clinch. His recent form on Max Muaythai is a points win over Atthapol Por Yuthapoom, a second round KO win over Chailek Sorkorsiripong and a third round KO win over Petsila Por Patra

Yodrachan Kiatnavy is currently based at Sattahip Naval base where he is trining as part of the thai Navy Seals team. He is a strong clinch and knee fighter that loves to try and lure his opponents into a battle and has some dangerous elbows in the clinch to complete his arsenal. His recent form at Max Muaythai, a first round stoppage loss to Farmai Sityodsian, a draw against Numsatuk Chairotservice and a points win against Numsatuk Chairotservice.

Nguentae Toiturakitbanterng is a strong fighter with experience against some top names and a high boxing IQ, he has some dangerous elbows, which he showed to devastating effect in his Max Muaythai debut. His recent form at Max Muaythai. a first round KO win over Tuanpae Jenwitkosaeng

Payaknoi Aor Petchnamnueng is the final contender for the Champion belt and is a clever fighter with a strong right kick and some strong clinching and knees. His twin brother Payaklek Aor Petchnamnueng is already a 'The Champion' four man winner and Payaknoi hopes to make history with the first twins to win this prestigious prize.

That completes the four man line up, but there is still plenty of action with 4 Max Muaythai Ultimate fights on the card as well to give the four man finalist a bit of time to recover before the final.

Poosan Tanasitmuaythai gym is the son of Olympic bronze medalist and Muaythai star Suriya Prasarthinpeemai and a sharp, all round fighter, he faces Gaichon Yor Payayung a tall, rangy fighter, with powerful stabbing knees.

Yodprabsuek Chor Sangprapai is a strong all round fighter with solid kicks and punches, he faces another good all round stylist in Rattapon Kiatphontip.

Champ Xtra-cole film a former 'The Champion' four man winner, is another quality all round fighter, with a strong clinch game, he faces Petchsangban Sitballsakon an aggressive, walk forward fighter.

The main fight outside of the four man sees Khunponnoi Jaypoobangkapi, the younger brother of Seksan Or Kwanmuang an aggressive walk forward fighter with solid knees and some dangerous elbows, he faces Kittisak Chor Rattanachai a clinch and knee machine, with a vice like grip, in a battle of former 'The Champion' 4 man winners.
